The AFTRS Centre for Screen Business and Screenrights invite you to attend the launch of Jennifer Wilson's white paper, 'The Digital Deadlock: how clearance and copyright issues are keeping Australian content offline'.
Jennifer will present the case for reforming the copyright system so that content creators can make the most of the online opportunity. Creators are missing out, she says, because the copyright system has fallen behind: 'It is failing the very people it is meant to encourage. Not only that, but the public is being denied access to the content it wants.'
Jennifer, a partner at The Project Factory and former Head of Innovation at NineMSN, will outline her proposals for reform and answer questions from the audience.
Come along and receive your free copy of Jennifer's paper together with her guide to navigating the digital landscape, 'Getting In The Digital Frame: a screen content producer’s guide to the digital landcape'.
Drinks will be hosted by Screenrights and AFTRS after the presentation.
